Parke County Community Foundation Announces New Executive Director

The Parke County Community Foundation is pleased to announce that Colleen Engle has been named its new Executive Director. Engle, a lifelong resident of Parke County, has dedicated more than a decade to the Foundation and brings a wealth of experience, passion, and deep community connections to her new role.

Colleen began her career with the Foundation in 2012 and has served in a variety of roles, including Marketing Support, Marketing Program Officer, Office & Programs Director, and Interim Executive Director. Over her 13 years of service, she has gained extensive experience in fund development, grantmaking, and strategic planning. These professional skills, combined with the many relationships she has fostered within the community, uniquely position her to lead the Foundation into the future.

“After 13 years of serving on staff, stepping into the role of Executive Director feels like both a great honor and a natural continuation of the work I love,” said Engle. “I am energized by the possibilities ahead. I care deeply about this community and the people who make it so special. I’m excited to carry forward the Foundation’s mission with our board, staff, donors, and partners, to ensure that we keep creating opportunities that truly make a difference for Parke County.”

Engle grew up in Rockville and graduated from Rockville Jr.–Sr. High School in 2007. She went on to study Marketing and Psychology at Indiana State University, graduating in 2011. In 2016, she was recognized by the Parke County Chamber of Commerce as the Parke County Young Leader for her outstanding service to the community and its citizens.

“The Parke County Community Foundation is thrilled to have Colleen as our new Executive Director,” said Alisa Wilson, Board Chair. “She brings a wealth of experience, as well as a fresh vision to the Foundation. Her appointment ensures the continuation of both tradition and future success.”

Through her leadership, Engle is committed to advancing the Foundation’s mission of making Parke County a stronger, more vibrant community for generations to come.

We invite you to join us in celebrating Colleen’s new role at an Open House held at the Parke County Community Foundation on September 29, 2025, from 10:00am to 3:00pm.
