To establish a Heritage Fund, the minimum donation should be $3,334. Once your matching funds are applied, your fund would meet the $10,000 minimum requirements to establish a Heritage Fund.

Join the 30 by 30 Legacy Club — Terms & Conditions

1. Purpose of the 30 by 30 Legacy Club

The Join the 30 by 30 Legacy Club campaign is a giving opportunity offered through the Parke County Community Foundation (PCCF) to encourage donors to establish a $30,000 Heritage Fund by June 30, 2030, as part of the Foundation’s Legacy Fund Program while taking advantage of current matching opportunities and tax credits.

Funds created through this program are permanent, unrestricted, endowed charitable funds held and managed by the Foundation for the long-term benefit of the Parke County community.

2. Pledge Commitment

By submitting a pledge form, the donor is making a statement of intent to contribute a specified amount over a designated period (e.g., $2,000 per year through June 30, 2030).
This pledge is not a legally binding debt, but a good-faith commitment that the Foundation relies upon to plan for future community benefit.

3. Gift Match Eligibility

Qualifying donations made to the 30 by 30 Legacy Club Heritage Funds may be eligible for a $2-for-$1 match under Lilly Endowment's GIFT IX Initiative, subject to the following conditions:

Matching funds are available only while Lilly Endowment’s GIFT IX Initiative is active and matching dollars remain available.

The Foundation reserves the right to allocate matching funds based on the eligibility criteria established by Lilly Endowment and PCCF policies.

Donors will be notified if the match has been fulfilled or is no longer available.

4. Use of Funds

All donations to the 30 by 30 Legacy Club will be used to establish or build a permanent Heritage Fund under the Foundation’s stewardship.
Endowed funds are invested in accordance with PCCF’s Investment Policy and subject to an annual distribution policy designed to preserve long-term fund growth while providing ongoing community grantmaking support.

5. Payment Options

Donors may fulfill their pledges through cash, check, online donations, appreciated securities, qualified charitable distributions, or other accepted forms of charitable giving.
Payment schedules (annual, quarterly, monthly, or lump-sum) may be arranged directly with the Foundation.

All gifts are irrevocable charitable contributions once received by the Foundation.

6. Tax Deductibility

All contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Donors will receive a written charitable receipt for each contribution.
Donors are encouraged to consult their financial or tax advisor regarding personal tax implications, including new standard deduction charitable giving credits effective in 2026.

7. Recognition

Unless otherwise requested, all donors joining the 30 by 30 Legacy Club may be recognized in Foundation publications, annual reports, or donor recognition events.
Donors wishing to remain anonymous should contact the Foundation and inform staff of such.

8. Changes or Modifications

Donors may modify or adjust their pledge schedule by contacting the Foundation office.
Any changes to pledge timing or payment method must be coordinated with Foundation staff to ensure continued eligibility for the Lilly Endowment match.

9. Administration of Funds

All funds established under the 30 by 30 Legacy Club are subject to the policies and procedures of the Parke County Community Foundation, including the Variance Power that allows the Foundation’s Board of Directors to redirect fund distributions if the original charitable purpose becomes impossible, impractical, or obsolete.

Funds established under Parke County Community Foundation's Legacy Fund Program are Unrestricted Funds and will follow the Foundation's policies for Unrestricted Funds.
