Meet Our Staff

Colleen Engle, Executive Director
Colleen is a lifelong resident of Parke County. She grew up in Rockville and graduated from Rockville Jr.–Sr. High School in 2007 before attending Indiana State University, where she studied Marketing and Psychology and graduated in 2011. Outside of work, Colleen enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and helping maintain her family farm.
Colleen began her career with the Parke County Community Foundation in 2012 and has served in a variety of roles over the years. Today, she leads the Foundation as Executive Director, guiding its mission to help donors improve the quality of life in Parke County.
As Executive Director, Colleen’s responsibilities include:
Asset Development & Stewardship – growing the Foundation’s resources and ensuring charitable assets are managed responsibly for long-term community benefit.
Donor & Community Relations – working closely with donors to connect their charitable goals with community needs.
Grantmaking & Scholarship Oversight – leading programs that provide funding to local nonprofits, schools, and students.
Strategic Leadership – collaborating with the Board of Directors to set the vision, goals, and priorities for the Foundation’s impact in Parke County.
Operations & Staff Management – supporting and guiding the Foundation’s staff team, while overseeing daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Through her leadership, Colleen is committed to advancing the Foundation’s mission of making Parke County a stronger, more vibrant community for generations to come.

Amy Edwards, Grants & Communications Administrator
Amy has lived in Parke County for most of her life. She grew up in northern Parke County and has lived in Rockville for several years. A graduate of Maranatha Christian School in 2001, Amy spent 17 years working in corrections before joining the Parke County Community Foundation. She has also been a travel agent for more than 12 years. With a lifelong heart for service, Amy is honored to help PCCF strengthen and support the community. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing with her dogs, and traveling the world.
Amy joined the Foundation in 2024 as the Administrative Assistant and currently serves as Grants & Communications Administrator. In this role, she is responsible for:
Grants Management – coordinating the Foundation’s grantmaking programs, working with applicants, and ensuring grant processes are efficient and transparent.
Scholarship Support – assisting with the administration of scholarships to help students pursue educational opportunities.
Communications & Marketing – managing PCCF’s public presence, including social media, newsletters, press releases, and other outreach efforts that share the Foundation’s impact with the community.
Donations & Financial Processing – overseeing the accurate processing of contributions, invoices, and acknowledgments to ensure smooth financial operations.
Office & Administrative Support – helping keep the Foundation’s daily operations organized and effective.
Through her work, Amy helps connect donors, nonprofits, and community members, ensuring that the Foundation’s mission is communicated clearly and its resources are directed where they are most needed.

Gracie Taylor, Intern
Gracie grew up in North Terre Haute and graduated from Terre Haute North High School in 2022. After high school, she became a Parke County resident and went on to attend Indiana State University, where she is currently a senior majoring in Marketing and Business Administration with a minor in Nonprofit Leadership. She is also part of the Honors College and an active member of Zeta Tau Alpha, where she has held leadership roles. Gracie is on track to graduate in May 2026. Outside of work, Gracie enjoys spending time with family & friends as well as assisting her sorority with philanthropic endeavors.
Gracie joined the Parke County Community Foundation in June 2025 as a summer intern. During her time with the Foundation, she is gaining hands-on experience in the everyday operations of a nonprofit, including donor relations, grantmaking, event planning, and community engagement. Interns at the Foundation also learn how charitable funds are managed, how scholarships and grants are awarded, and how community needs are identified and addressed through philanthropy.
Through this internship, Gracie is not only applying what she has learned in the classroom but also building valuable skills in nonprofit leadership, communications, and program management that will serve her in her future career.

Brad C. Bumgardner, Senior Staff Consultant
Brad received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Lincoln Christian University in Lincoln, Illinois where he captained both the basketball and baseball teams. Following his years in Lincoln, he performed graduate study in Counseling Psychology at Indiana State University. Brad is Board Certified in Mutual Fund Investment vehicles. He joined the Parke County Community Foundation in 1997; serving first as board member, board vice chair and, since 2000, as our Executive Director.
He is the past chair of the Community Foundation State Committee in Indiana, is a member of the Board of Directors at the Indiana Philanthropy Alliance and the Parke County Learning Center, and served on Governor Daniel’s Commission for Historic Indiana Courthouses.
On May 1, 2025, Brad retired after 25 years as PCCF’s Executive Director. In retirement, Brad will serve in a consulting role to current PCCF staff.
