In 2017, the Parke County Community Foundation launched their Youth Philanthropy Initiative.  This initiative was created to help connect Parke County youth to Parke County non-profits.  The students will assist our non-profits in activities. The Foundation is currently partnering with existing elementary and high school  organizations such as Student Council and FCCLA to improve the community.

Each year we ask our non-profits to contact us if they are in need of assistance with their day to day activities, new programs, events, marketing, volunteer recruitment, etc.  

The Foundation then makes proposals to each youth organization where they will then choose which non-profit they would like to work with that year.
