
Foundation Board of Directors Drafts New Strategic Plan for 2017-2020

Town Fund Efforts a Huge Success
In the Spring of 2016, the Parke County Community Foundation Board of Directors challenged Parke County’s six incorporated communities to create an endowed fund for their town. The towns were offered a $20,000 match to any Parke County incorporated town who raised $5,000 for an endowed fund at the Foundation. The citizens of Parke County responded, and all six communities met their match and beyond! A celebration reception was held in January with each town hosting a commem


Fund Spotlight: Parke County EMS
US. News & World Report lists more than 150 hospitals in Indiana. Unfortunately, none of those 150+ hospitals are located in Parke County. Neighboring county hospitals provide quality care for Parke County citizens, but in an emergency situation transit via ambulance can sometimes take 30-45 minutes.
