Legacy Hallmark Gifts Matched $1 for $1
through December 31st
The Parke Foundation Board of Directors has announced, “Double Your Donation”, up to $500 for any gift to a new or existing Legacy Hallmark Fund at the Foundation. The Foundation Board of Directors set aside $10,000 in match money for this program and the match is available on a first come, first serve basis through December 31, 2011.
The Foundation currently houses more than 175 Legacy Hallmark Funds, ranging in value from $500 to $10,000. It only takes $500 to begin a Legacy Hallmark Fund which can honor or memorialize a loved one, business, or individual who has made an impact in your life.
Once gifts to a Legacy Hallmark Fund reach $10,000, the Hallmark Fund transitions to a Legacy Heritage Fund, which will then operate as a stand-alone unrestricted endowment fund. Each year the Foundation’s Grants Committee awards the earnings in the name of the Heritage Fund to a worthwhile charitable effort in Parke County.
